OSC's 2017 United Way Volleyball Tournament Results

Despite the forecast of showers and thunderstorms, on Friday, June 8, 2017, 255 participants came together for the 29th annual Otis/United Way Volleyball Tournament at the Otis Service Center in Bloomfield, CT and raised $11,072 for the United Way!

Thirty-eight (38) teams came from as near as OSC and as far as Sikorsky in Stratford, CT. Most of the UTC companies were represented in the tournament: UTC Corporate, UTC Aerospace Systems, UTC Research Center, Otis of Farmington and Bloomfield, and Pratt & Whitney of East Hartford. We also saw teams come from outside the UTC umbrella, Pfizer, The Hartford and Sikorsky.

The event was sponsored by AFD Industries, Automotive Resources International, Cabworks Custom Elevators, Dell/EMC, Draka Elevator Products, Eurest Dining Services, Kaman Industrial Technologies, Lentron Corporation, Magnetek, Mainfreight USA, Mr. Trophy & Company, Otis Service Center, Penmar Industries, Precision Engineering, Quintana Associates, SCS Elevator Products, SnapCab by Bostock, and Taylor Communications.

The Otis Service Center and the Otis United Way Committee would like to extend a special thank you to the tournament volunteers, team captains, Griffin Land, and the Grass Fours Volleyball League.
